Birthday time!

Just a couple of birthdays in December.  Congrats Alex and Bridget!

Tony, Kaiden and Kirstyn also turned five!

Exploding soap (Don't do this at home...)

Oh, we sure did it.
Exploded it and all, and boy was it fun.
Check it out!

Patterns Galore

Parent teacher conferences are coming up.  We wanted to check up on their critical thinking skills so we worked on patterns.  Here are just a couple of our smarty pants.

SCIENCE!

It was a pretty cold couple of days last week.  So why not learn about clouds and rain.  We used water, shaving cream and food coloring. We added different colors to make the green, and even added some marbles for THUNDER.

Who knew clouds could be so much fun.

WE DID!

Egg race

Last week, when we learned about Penguins we did a penguin walk.  The daddies carry their eggs to keep them warm. So we gave it a try.  The students were so excited to try it.

SO MUCH FUN!  Next year we will definitely be getting bigger eggs.

We are ALL friends.

Yes, this is our motto in class. We live by it no matter what.  Even if our friend makes us made or hurts our insides.  We are ALL friends. We learn to read and write in preschool, but what we also learn is
RESPECT.

No matter what we still love each other.  I am so proud of these students.  Seeing each other for what we are on the inside and not just on the outside.

funny time

We are just a silly bunch.  Here are some funny pictures from class to make you smile.
We tried on Ms. Emily's glasses today.  They were a blast.
I asked the girls if they could take care of my baby, and when i turned around they were wearing these.

Ms. Olivia is a graduate, but she joined us for Christmas break.  Miss her already :(

Writing time

We start writing bright and early at 830 in the morning.  That is when our minds are fresh.  We have been doing great on our writing and are now doing sight words.  Next month, we start writing sentences.
